Racing to Raise Money for Alice Charity – Supporting Vulnerable Families
Almas Team
"Alice Charity is an organisation that we believe in at Almas and we want to show our support by racing to raise money".
Russell Ellis and Ian Evans are challenging themselves by racing for Alice Charity because they want to support vulnerable families in need. It is an organisation that we believe in at Almas and we want to show our support by racing to raise money for them.
What is Alice Charity?
Alice Charity is a charity organisation that is based in Newcastle and Stoke-on-Trent who work towards the goal of supporting vulnerable families in the local area and have been operating for about 10 years now.
The charity’s mission is to help families with the right things, at the right time, in the right way, when no one else can. They are often the last resort for desperate, local families who otherwise would have no one to turn to. They empower these families and give them the tools they need to break the relentless cycle of poverty. We can’t think of any better mission than this.
Potters ‘Arf – Race run by Alice Charity
Potters ‘Arf is one of the most unique races in the UK and Alice Charity is thrilled to be one of the chosen charities. Once you have signed up you can FUNdraise for the Alice Charity and help to support vulnerable & disadvantaged families in Stoke & Newcastle.
While Russell is racing in the Potters ‘Arf fundraiser, Ian will be striding out in the Robin Hood half marathon in Nottingham on the same day.
