About the nursery
The nursery was started by Mrs. Dimpfl in 1976. There are 20 qualified staff and 6 teaching assistants. The nursery provides a full early years curriculum in a happy, relaxed atmosphere. The nursery has three classrooms, a large hall, an outdoor classroom, a water room, a garden, a pond, indoor heated learning pool and a large outdoor playground.

Security and a safe environment for all children in our care is really important to us. Our premises are very, very special, indeed ‘unique’, in that we are a private school in a state school enclave. We are very proud of our facilities, our lovely garden, bright hall and classrooms and indoor, heated swimming pool. We continually strive to implement improvements within the school even though we have been given areas of outstanding by O.F.S.T.E.D.
Why choose Almas for your access control?
We previously had another company’s biometrics system, because we believe that biometrics offer the best security for the nursery. However, we did not find their service to be of an acceptable standard. Since we approached Almas Industries, they have proved very efficient and responsive.
